I received this to extend the USB cable for my Rift S. I have the 10 foot version. I've had several different issues with this that caused my Rift S to become unresponsive. My Rift S lost connection to my PC. I also had tracking issues on my Rift S. The cameras didn't report the correct position of the controllers, and the accelerometer didn't track correctly when I moved my head either. I suspect it just doesn't like being extended, at least not 10 feet with the cord inactive. To be fair I also tried a 15ft active USB 3.0 extension cable and it didn't work at all, I couldn't get any signal from it. Don't get it for use with the Rift S. It has 5 cameras and a bunch of other sensors, this 10ft version of this cable just can't compete.
