Previously, this could be attributed to the features of the contrast autofocus, but in the a6000, Sony claims the presence of a hybrid AF. At first I was excited when I heard about it, so I decided to immediately check how well it works. I put the turned-off Vita in front of me, I focus on the screen - the focus cannot be visited for a long time and, as a result, it is not induced. I take a Fujifilm camera (also with a hybrid focus), and it calmly aims. So Sony still focuses on contrast autofocus, and it is not clear how phase sensors are specifically involved here. In general, I could not evaluate the advantages in the form of a hybrid focus. I was also dissatisfied with the level of noise at ISO 6400 and above. The built-in noise reduction fights them, but the detailing drops. Therefore, you have to shoot in RAW and run almost everything through Lightroom. By ISO, I compared RAWs from one stand on the Olympus E-M10, Fujifilm X-T1 and A6000. On the Olympus (with a smaller matrix, by the way) there is less fuji. Well, the third point, which does not allow us to recommend the A6000 for professional use, is to assemble a set of prof. E-mount lenses are still quite difficult - I recommend paying attention to the SEL35F18 and SEL50F18. There are no professional grade zooms at the moment. So, if you already use a compact crop. DSLR and you have a 17-55 level zoom lens, then by switching to the A6000 with fixes, you will not win either in price, or in the compactness of the kit, or in the quality of the final material.
