Review on Buckle Down VENOM Expression Black by Justin Sherman

I have bought collars and leashes from BuckleDown before, they are great. Vibrant colors, very durable material and I've used them on all my furry animals. Not even my crazy German Shepherd puppy that I recently rescued. This is the first time I have received something from BuckleDown and it was damaged and the product is not as pictured. A small tab to open the clasp has broken off. I opened the package ONLY 1 minute before writing this. I was shocked because as I said everything else I have received from this company so far has been perfect. I'm disappointed in the flowers too. The red in the picture is not that bright when on the leash. Remember I bought this leash to walk my 17 year old cat, Star. I take her on hikes and although I wear her most of the time it's nice to have a leash on her harness if she wants to walk alone and tie her to me in case anything happens. That's why I got this very thin leash. Maybe there's less room for bright colors due to the smaller size, but it's still a disappointment. The broken clasp just shouldn't have happened. I couldn't even find another broken piece in the packaging so this must have happened before shipping. I am very disappointed. But based on the quality of the leash in general and the company that has never let me down I would still expect 4 stars from this leash. If only the leash was perfect. :/
