Review on 🌲 COSCO 4 ft. Fold-in-Half Portable Utility Table: Gray, Indoor/Outdoor Crafting, Tailgating, Camping+ by Mary Beauchene

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Affordable but not as good as Lifetime tables

This 4-leg COSCO table folds in half and the legs are hidden inside like a giant briefcase. It has a built-in cloth handle, very light and portable. COSCO costs about 2/3 the cost of a similar Lifetime brand folding table, but unfortunately the quality isn't nearly as good. The plastic top doesn't fully enclose the metal frame. Instead you can see that it is glued to the frame and some glue is visible in some places. The plastic is also noticeably thin, and ours was slightly wrinkled in transit. You can also feel the COSCO tabletop flexing a bit when you push it down, while the Lifetime table feels very solid. The thin plastic is also fairly easy to scratch and dent. There's a metal tab that should snap when you open the table fully to lock the table in the open position, but ours is a little off so we have to manually slide it into place. Once tuned, it seems rather fragile and unstable. It makes a great spare table for a picnic or flea market, but I don't expect it to last long. I definitely recommend spending the extra $20 to get something more solid.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of style
