Adjustable Gas Pedal Extender Cover for 2007-2018 Jeep 🚗 Wrangler JK & Unlimited – Hooke Road Driver Foot Rest Pad Review

I ordered this for my Jeep Wrangler as I'm quite short and needed something to get to the gas pedal easier. Unfortunately one of the screws is missing. I installed it anyway, hoping the 3 screws are ok. Seems to be very robust and has been helping a lot so far. I would like a 4th screw.

Got this pedal cover for my new Wrangler JK. The position of the pedal drove me crazy that the gas pedal was so much farther away than the brake pedal. In the shortest position, the gas escapes and lines up. I have now ridden over 1000 miles with the pedal mounted with no problems. Installation was easy.

I have short legs and the accelerator pedal on my Jeep JK was too long for me and I had to sit closer to the wheel than I would have liked. After installing this cover/extension I was able to slide the seat back for more comfort. It's a heavy extension and the weight makes my Jeep go much faster. I think the weight makes the jeep more responsive! I highly recommend this product!

Bought to see if it would fit my JL Wrangler, kind of fit but didn't. I was able to bolt it on, but the pedal was higher than the brake pedal, so I didn't like the way it felt. Of course, I might have gotten used to it if I'd kept it longer. For one, this item is heavy and would make your gas more sensitive. Some people might not like it, but I think it helped eliminate the sense of progressive acceleration that wrestlers experience when increasing their speed.

I'm a 4'11 adult lol so this literally saved me. For some reason the jeep pedal in my wrangler feels a lot farther back than in any car I've had, so that helps a lot so I don't eat the dash. A trifle makes the gas pedal almost flush with the brake. So just try to step on the brake pedal instead of stepping on both the brake and gas. Sounds scary but honestly it's not that bad and I haven't had any problems. I just need to move my foot a little more to the left.

Like most other Jeep owners, the pedal configuration is terrible. This greatly simplifies throttle, brake and clutch control. I especially noticed this on the trails and when crawling over obstacles.
