I've never used this as an undamaged screen protector but our 4 year old smashed our new iPad screen. Simple, shattered beyond recognition, broken glass, work. The screen replacement was supposed to cost the same as an iPad, so like Hail Mary, I bought these screen protectors to see if I could put them on a broken screen. Worked fabulously. The touchscreen works great hiding any sharp parts on the broken screen and while there are visible cracks it doesn't affect the picture when my kids are watching their shows. The best part is they come in two packs and when our 4 year old broke the glass on the tread again we just put a new one on. Very easy to install, comes with everything you need, very good price less than $5 each.
