Very easy to sharpen the hair removal knife But that only applies to 800 grit, you just can't get the insane sharpness that other kits give. But you're also paying half to 1/3 the cost of these kits, so what do you expect? Even after the belt you don't get a mirror finish, but you do get a very sharp edge. Maybe I just got a bad one, I'm not sure, but my leather strap is slightly bent in the middle. So if you're trying to sharpen sheepskin or anything else with a flat edge, only the extreme edges of the sling will touch the blade. If your knife has a small stomach, it will work better, but you need to be aware of this.
