Review on Magisso Brush Holder White 70182 by Jill Williams

UPDATE 7/26/15. CLIP ONLY BROKEN! (I foresaw that). $24 for 3 months usage is clearly not worth it. Downgraded from 4 to 1. First review: I just received the device today. It was packaged in very attractive retail packaging (made me feel like I bought a special piece of equipment and not a regular hardware store item). Mounting and positioning the clamp was easy, even with the Corian (hard surface) sink. The device I bought is all white and the clip is plastic. While the construction appears fine, I'm concerned about how long this clip will last. I think machined aluminum might be a better material but would probably increase the cost. Likewise, the magnets are not as strong as I had hoped. Rare earth magnets can be strong even if they are small. These magnets did not impress me. Even though my sink is made of thin Corian material, I have to hold the clip when I remove the brush or the clip will fall off the sink every time I pick up the brush. If the magnets were stronger I don't think this would be a problem. I suspect this works better on a thinner metal shell. However, it works as described, even with a hard surface sink. and it's a great idea!
