This is clearly mass production so there will be defects. A few other commenters mentioned that some only landed on one side, attributing this to improper weight distribution. I didn't have this problem as the stems were slightly off center so when you rotate the dreidel it tends to land on the same side. Could it be that the stem caused uneven weight transfer? I'm not sure, but it served my purpose, which is for people to play at work. I don't know if I would recommend them for a family set but if you are looking for something cheap for a party or event I think they will do it.
