Easy to connect to a computer. The sound quality is very good; good basis. However, not very loud. I set it to 100% and I can hear my program well enough as long as there is no outside noise. I had to close the patio door because only the sound of the wind and random people walking by was as loud as the speakers would allow. I use them on a Dell desktop computer - Windows 8 - and at max volume the volume was too low to hear anything meaningful. This is an improvement. Edit: for a while. I will donate to charity. I don't know if they're losing volume or what, but they're not loud enough. I can't eat dinner, watch shows, or hear dialogue even if I'm sitting 2.5ft from them with the volume on maximum.
