*UPDATE* I left the boots in the sun for a few days and the smell is gone! My daughter still loves these boots and they have held up great! Will definitely be buying another pair once it outgrows its current ones. These boots are great! My daughter wore them all the time which resulted in the boots getting very dirty. They are easy to clean and she said they are comfortable. The only downside is that they smell so bad - the overpowering smell of rubber. Which is to be expected, but we have had many wellies and have never had a problem with their smell. I'll try a few things to get rid of the smell.
