Saved a day installing
. The mounting screw locations on the original fan did not match the mounting brackets on the new fan. I wasn't sure what to do. I found this universal mount and decided to give it a try. It worked like a charm. It took me 2 short bolts and 2 nuts to attach it but it worked great. I just bought another one for my next ceiling fan installation. I highly recommend it
