Instructions for making holes required to increase the strength of the locking mechanism

installation b* %&^ for several reasons, last but not least the lack of a paper hole guide. It's very difficult to guess how far you can stretch the springs to lock things in place without damaging the locking mechanism and I lost 2 packs out of 6 in the process. One of the 4 installed is too loose, but while the rest hold, and one of them is not fully locked (pushing forcefully can break the 3rd). In my opinion, it's just a crappy metal pot that's not meant to be set up. As with many gadget or tool purchases from Revain, I am embarrassed that I thought it wouldn't break right away.
