Good pump, solid construction, expensive. This is for the environment, so adjust the number of pumps accordingly. The hose is good, I recommend putting it on the valve first when screwing it. As mentioned, Presta only. Just used screws and it works great. I plan to use it mainly to start the chambers with air to install on the wheel before using the cartridge. For a road bike, the effort was manageable, but it took 300 pumps to inflate the 28c tire to 90psi. 150 pumps = 60 psi (and easy, took less than 90 seconds) 250 pumps = 80 PSI 300 pumps = 90 psi as others have noted although the effort up to 80 is very reasonable and *it* wasn't really working hard. Almost anyone should be able to push a hoop enough to not only get you home, but complete your trip. As others have pointed out, the pump's rubber seal gets knocked off when it's closed. The functionality is not affected by this, only such a price is not justified. Do you think this can be glued?
