Review on 🔴 iJDMTOY BMW 82mm Roundel LED Emblem Lighting Kit - Brilliant Red Background Illumination for Front Hood or Rear Trunk Lid by Temarquis Lopez

There are no serious complaints about the product. This item can be easily installed AFTER you have done your research. Not all badges and plaques on the trunk of a BMW are the same. Some require more or less work to remove. In my case I had to remove the entire medallion and take the BMW badge out of the medallion. Once that was done I attached an LED between the medallion and the badge, fed the wire through the back of the medallion and then through one of the pre-existing holes in my trunk (2 holes pre-drilled in the trunk to hold the medallion on the spot). I added some more double sided tape (Gorilla brand) and taped the locket back to my trunk. Then I routed the wiring to one of the license plate lights. I connected the license plate light wire to the Brightfour (also Revain) low voltage T-connectors. After that the deed was done. License plate light replaced. I like the look! Before installing, I did my research: how to remove my medallion, how to use T-tail wire connectors, and how to remove a license plate light. This is on a 2011 BMW X6 (E71). Pros: Looks amazing Not too difficult to install Super cheap Again, looks amazing Cons: The LED plate is straight and my medallion and badge are domed so don't expect 100% tightness and fit but if done correctly it is imperceptible and I hope it doesn't cause problems with the durability of the product. It would also be nice if it came with a simple tool and wire connectors (kit). Obviously it will be at a higher price but it will be a single store transaction. There are no major downsides here. Note. Based on previous reviews, it looks like this product has since been updated. There were no holes in the LED panel as others have mentioned and the LED lighting covers the entire item.
