Review on HydroBlu Sidekick Backpacking Emergency Preparedness by Jeff Johnson

This was my daily replacement filter for. I hope I don't need tap water. an experience. I ended up taking it with me in my everyday bag on a trip to Southeast Asia (Philippines). It has definitely come in handy. I wish the replaceable little bottom filter wasn't so flimsy (the plastic loop broke), but that's a minor complaint. This article is definitely the best! I will buy another. And for the curious. no, i didn't get sick. I've used this to drink tap and well water from all parts of the Philippines, known areas with patchy water. EDIT: After using it for a year (still less than 50 gallons) it's superb! Every time I leave the US, it goes in my pocket. I've used this thing all over Asia and never got sick.
