
If you're one of those guys who crimp AND solder battery terminal connections this is for you. I used to do both, but have found that with a hydraulic crimping tool, soldering is no longer necessary and can actually lead to more problems. Heating and then soldering the joint makes it stiff and possibly weaker. You have to look closely at the picture and you will see that there is a slot on the front of the connector which you can presumably melt the solder into the connector. If you do this, make sure you solder the hole, which may require quite a bit of solder.
