Elastic straps without buckles for men and women are great! This belt buckle delivered well. It didn't give off any strange odors or chemical smells. I ordered a set with a belt and received a belt and a detachable buckle. I'm not a fan of bulky regular belts. I prefer the ones that sit fairly discreetly so you can't see through the material of my clothes. This belt works this way, but can also be worn with a detachable buckle to create an invisible waist with tunic tops, dresses, etc. The belt is not too wide, only 1.3 inches wide. The clasps are strong, but not so tight that they are difficult to fasten and undo. The elastic band holds tight but also moves with you without restricting movement or creating bulges. She's holding up well. There are no signs of poor construction or immediate wear and tear. I'm a fan and I highly recommend it!
