My company builds a lot of decks. They are well suited for fixing the billboard. Yes, you will need to use more than standard 1/2" lag bolts, but the labor savings (not to mention the size/weight reduction on our vans/trailers) is remarkable. Standard 1/2" carriage bolt connection, then add two of these for a strong stand.
