The tape came off easily, it appeared to be plastic but the UPC was like a sticker - it was a mother trying to peel it off. It didn't work out very well. I'm luckier than some, I only lose an inch of roll, but that's unacceptable. From all the feedback out there, they should know (even if it's multiple third party vendors) not to put their damn decals on vinyl. Put things in shrink wrap and then stick live daylights on top. But leave vinyl alone for cheese and crackers. I had/have a project that needed doing with this and all the sticker and tape stuff is annoying. In some reviews it was corrected, in some reviews it was hell on earth, in some very little. I'm sorry but you need to think about your customers, read these reviews and take action to fix this and make the packaging hassle-free. Thank your lucky star that the post people were so kind as it arrived WITHOUT PROTECTION. NOTHING. Lightweight bubble wrap, rolled vinyl (looks like it was rolled too tight), a piece of plastic tape (thanks!), and a sticker from hell. I guess they don't read these reviews or don't care what we say. It also confuses me - VViViD is the seller I bought from. Their site says - VViViD is a manufacturer specializing in self-adhesive films, coatings and more. This year they were recognized as one of the leading manufacturers of vinyl films for the automotive, architectural and advertising industries. No, ORACAL IS MANUFACTURED BY ORAFOL. These people just buy, cut and sell, and I can tell you - the more you buy, the cheaper. :) The way they exploit and sell it - they buy in bulk, put it on the market and ship it. Is this really the real Oracal? or the product they make? That's another question for another day. Haven't used my reel yet - still working on the damn sticker and then trying to get it to detach the reel. I have a real Orakal on my jeep, it's fully boxed. I know the quality, the stick and the ease of work - so we'll see.
