I've wanted a toaster for a long time but didn't have much counter space. I love my deep fryer but I don't use it as often as I could because I have to store it elsewhere. It hurts every time to take it out and put it away. This replaces a toaster and air fryer and the size is perfect for me - it lives on my counter. The toast takes 4 minutes. - longer than my old toaster but I can work with it. The exterior does get warm, but due to the size, I can only keep it 2-3 inches from the back. The manual says to unplug when not in use. It's tedious and I would most likely burn my hand reaching for the device. I bought a small surge protector with a short cord that I can turn on and off. Keurig is also connected to it. I had it for about a month. I used the fry function once and everything was fine. I've been using the foil bag baking feature a lot lately. How nice NOT to heat the kitchen with an oven in the middle of summer. It's not enough for cooking for a large family, but it's ideal for 1-2 people.
