The 2020 Corona virus made me dig up my old hair clippers but I found that the blades are oxidized and won't cut my hair. Replacing the blades on my clipper with Barber Supply instead of replacing the clipper was MUCH cheaper. And the free shipping came two days later (although they said it would be three at checkout). The old blades came off easily by unscrewing a couple of very short screws. Do not lose these screws as the new blades in this kit do not include new screws. (some other kits have spare screws) The new blades were then adjusted a bit. My advice is to install the new parts and tighten the screws all the way but not tight. Then gently press down on the gold blade until its teeth are slightly longer than the white (ceramic) blade and the same length on the right as on the left. Then carefully tighten the screws fully, being careful not to move the golden blade. Close the deal with a few drops of oil and you're good to go. You must supply oil as this kit does not include oil (again, some other kits include oil). dead easy. New blades are slightly louder than old blades. Obviously it's more noticeable if you trim your ears. But baby they cut! I don't know yet how long the sharpness of the ceramic blade will last. But now I get along with them very well.
