Plug and Play on Ubuntu 20.04.2 Focal Fossa. CHIRP loaded via FlatPak could use it on /dev/ttyUSB0. For use with CHIRP on a Ubuntu version later than 20.04, you need to proceed differently than in previous Ubuntu versions since Ubuntu has dropped legacy support. Python; I would recommend installing FlatPak for ease of use. Ubuntu 20.04+ users (no other workarounds) must also add themselves to the "tty" and "dialout" user groups for this to work using the following commands on the terminal: sudo usermod -a -G dialout (your username) sudo usermod -a -G tty (your username) Adaptation to the radio was solid. However, the USB connector had poor tolerances and was "wobbly" in the USB port on my laptop, which is in good condition. The USB enclosure was also cheap and wobbly, but connectivity wasn't compromised. I'll probably replace the USB connector at some point. However, the plastic case is visually appealing; reminds me of third party playstation peripherals from the early 2000s. There's an activity indicator on the cable, which is pretty cool too.
