Cheap Alternative to 3/4 Base Layer

I'm 6'1" and 140 lbs and bought the small. My height/weight doesn't match the size chart but rounding down was definitely the right choice .The pants are below the knee despite my long legs, even when I pull them up to my natural waist. There is enough room in the crotch to pull them that high. The belt isn't very restrictive, which is both a good and bad thing is; I can feel movement when they don't reach my natural waistline. Material is very thin and not very dense at all; not sure if that even qualifies as light compression (8mmHg) Seams aren't noticeable and overall is all very comfortable. Despite all the flaws mentioned, I believe they were worth the price ($12.89) If you can't find Under Armor Cold Gear below retail and don't have merino wool for extra warmth If you need warmth, this is a cheap alternative that will keep your base layer warm. your shoe.
