I bought Amcrest NV2108 HS NVR 1.5 years ago when the price was very low. I have several Amcrest cameras and have used each's built-in email feature to notify me when there was activity. I see it more as a server than a standalone application. Setup was very easy as I transferred the config.back file from the NV-2108 to the new device. The two ONVIF cameras were quickly integrated and my H.265 enabled cameras help utilize the hard drive. The connection of the NVR to external applications also ran smoothly. Now I have nine live cams and there is a chance to increase their number if the opportunity arises.
