Review on 🌡️ Yellow Jacket 42006 Series 41 Manifold with 3-1/8" Gauge, PSI, R-22/R-134a/R-404A by Olajuwon Achille

After so many positive reviews I really wish I liked this air conditioning manifold. However, when it arrived, a broken piece of plastic was floating inside the red pressure gauge. Worse still, when using my new 2-stage vacuum pump, the blue gauge couldn't go below -27 inches of mercury. At first I suspected the new pump wasn't good and wanted to return it, but then decided to borrow another pump - the blue gauge couldn't go below -27 inches of mercury either. So I borrowed another AC splitter and both pumps dropped the blue gauge to -30 inches of mercury almost immediately. So my new pump is fine, but Yellow Jacket's blue gauge is clearly not calibrated (I see another reviewer reported the same issue). There is a small screw to adjust the position of the needle, but it's not necessary. So I sent it back and due to the LONG delivery time for the replacement I got one locally at half price which has a nice case, rubber protection around the sensors and a pair of R134A couplings. I will say the Yellow Jacket tubing seems to be of good quality but other than that I got a lemon.
