I bought two such humidifiers - one for each child's room. One broke after a month of use and the other after TWO NIGHTS of use. Parts of the humidifier still work, but the lights/projections are 100% unusable. The problem is that the humidifier only throws mist 2 inches into the air. After just a few hours of use (and I used intermittent mode!) the water just pools all over the device. Apparently it then seeps into the electrical mechanisms, destroying the lighting components and leaving a puddle of rusty water everywhere. I found them so cute, compact and easy to fill. But don't waste your money. I am extremely disappointed.
