Amcrest POE NVRs use a separate network when connected to the rear POE ports. just know

I'm not sure how much I'm in love with the latest version I found with this DVR. I would like to know that if I use the POE ports on the back of the NVR, my cameras on the NVR will be completely isolated from other cameras. What I mean is that now I need to add the NVR to the app to see the cameras instead of just adding the cameras. Maybe I'm doing something wrong and it's worth trying again. I understand this is a good thing to keep the bad guys out, but I'm not sure how much I like the fact that I have to do everything through the NVR to control the camera since it's not in my main network is. (Update: I found an app on my PC that now allows me to control the cameras via the NVR). Pros: - This NVR has a great 4K picture when connected to a good 4K TV and has no issues at all with 3 cameras included. 3 of them are 4K cameras, one is a new 30fps bullet and the 4th is a 4MP camera. The NVR has many configuration options and allows me to control Amcrest camera settings through the NVR. - Recording access to NVR is very good and fast. - Zooming and screen switching is very good and fast. - Everything I do on this NVR seems to be fast, which suggests it's not too weak. Cons: - The fans, especially that of the PSU, are noisy in a quiet room, so you don't need to install or place this dash cam near people or just don't worry about fan noise. A workaround that now makes it look professional. Using the POE ports on the back of the NVR isolates the cameras from your home. Network and everything has to be done through the NVR and can't be done directly to the camera through the web browser which I'm used to. The workaround is to download and use the Amcrest Surveillance Pro app. It's a pretty nice free app that lets you control your cameras via the NVR in the app.
