Review on ๐Ÿ–ฑ๏ธ Enhanced Model O Gaming Mouse, Matte Black (GO-Black) by Rob Allen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice design and a big improvement over most mice

After building a new PC for the first time in years, I decided I could probably use a 'more modern' mouse. My old MS mouse was showing its age (very much!) and it was clear that newer mice had advantages that could produce more precise cursor movement. The Glorious Model O was my pick because of its slightly larger size (compared to the MS mouse), much faster (and adjustable) tracking speed, a few extra buttons you might find useful, a ventilated, lightweight body, and a super flexible long cable combined, thicker slips and some RGB lighting for some fun. The braided cable doesn't get in the way, the mouse runs well and the colors are interesting. The large size proved better for my hand than other mice I've owned or used. Glorious is also releasing an O model for those with smaller hands, very close in size to the ubiquitous MS mouse; Models D and D - for those who like a more "ergonomic" body shape, as well as cordless versions of all models. Thanks to the OpenRGB and Piper projects for Linux, Linux users can also control mouse settings, as can Windows users with software provided by the manufacturer. Perhaps the guys at Glorious will take the lead here and officially provide Linux developers with the details in the future, saving them the task of reverse engineering (and also expanding their market a little). Annoyance: The left buttons (which are thumb-operated for right-handers) should be moved forward to better prevent accidental presses (moved so that the back button moves to the front button). currently is). , and the front button is moved forward by the corresponding amount). But this annoyance may have more to do with my particular hand shape and size than anything else, and I'm getting more used to it over time. So overall a good choice for me. Newcomers to the Model O will find that it takes some getting used to. The case has a bit more flex than a typical MS mouse, but that's nothing to complain about and I got used to it quickly.
