My original charger gave up the ghost less than a year after I bought my surfacebook. I did a little research and the Microsoft charger is between $80-$100. It was disappointing to say the least after spending $1,000 on my laptop. Many reviews said the original charger was cheaply made. Thank goodness this charger arrived quickly and well packaged. I plugged it straight into the mains and the light came on while it charged my laptop which hadn't worked for about a week. I'm so glad and happy and it was a fraction of the cost if I had bought a new Microsoft charger. Look no further, this is the right choice when you need a new laptop charger!
