I have two of these mounts. Both are outdoors in wet South Florida weather but are under the eve and therefore direct rain. I've only had them installed for a week so I can't comment on durability or rust but I can say they are very tough. I screwed them into my house with drywall screws and then used white caulk to coat the black screw heads. I'm pretty sure I could literally hold on to them now. Some others have said they were difficult to adjust, but I had no trouble adjusting or locking. The lock nut you screw in to keep the camera from rotating is pretty pathetic. It doesn't really stop the camera from rotating. I can replace this 1/4-20 knurled brass nut so it can be held securely and won't rust on the mounting stud. For the money Netgear charges for these things, I was expecting something more reliable than a dumb plastic thing that does next to nothing. One star for the lock nut, but other than that it's a great mount.
