I've had this cooling pad for about a week now and I can say the fan is working and I'm not worried about my laptop overheating. There are a few little things I have trouble with. First, the fan is quite audible. There were times I worried that my laptop was overloaded with work, but I realized it was just the sound of a fan. The lights on the side are neat and you can switch between color changing patterns, but my left and right sides don't match. I can have a rainbow on the right, but it will be solid on the left, or vice versa. This does not affect the use of the cooling pad, just a minor cosmetic irritation. I'm using this for a 15" MacBook Pro, although it's made for 17-20" it still works great and I don't mind the large size. I love the angle my laptop is held at and it's very convenient when I'm using it to stream video games. In general, I'm happy with this product, and minor flaws are so-so.
