I paint with a brush, but since I got these markers I rarely use a brush except for the base layer. These pens are easy to use. Odorless and dries quickly. Shake the pen like an aerosol can. Press firmly on the scratch paper to get the ink into the tip. You may have to click a few times. When you see that the tip of the pen has changed color, you're done. If you're drawing with a pen, don't press hard or the ink will smear your work. Since nothing needs to be removed, store the handles flat. Do not store upright!
