I got this because it has a zoom lens with adjustable focus which most other webcams don't have. It works fine on my desktop. Compared to many other non-zoom webcams, it has a narrow field of view, so it may not be suitable for a conference table. I use it at the widest angle on my desk, so my face almost fills the screen. Shooting at long distances would be nice with a 10x telephoto lens. Works well in low light. I had an issue with the camera and the seller was very accommodating and quickly resolved the issue through Revain chat.
