Review on FIFTY Wide Mouth Straw Cap by Jermaine Krishnamoorthy

I got this because I liked the idea of just opening the spout and the handle makes it very easy to carry. The lid I received is not painted like the picture, with a grey/blue spout. mine is all black. I don't care that much about colors but thought I should mention it. But I can't give it a very good grade. It leaks two ways and the straw never fits. First leaks. When the cap is "tight" - that is, as tight as you would expect a normal cap to be - it leaks down the threads. This leads me to believe that the seal/ring is made of the wrong material, flexes and deforms too much which can cause the seal to break. That means it has to be "a little tight," which can lead to another problem. If it tips over or is otherwise hit, the lid will detach and just start spilling out. Another possibility for leakage is through the silicone vent at the top when the spout is closed. This doesn't always happen, but sometimes when the container bounces during a trip, it starts dripping. Secondly. Straw. Some people complained that it took too much effort to use. Well I've never had the chance to use it. The width of the straw is 2 times the size of the spout. As if it was intended for a completely different cover.
