These are US sizing. I wear pants with a 35" waist, so I bought a 36. For me, the fit is snug, not too tight. They look amazing in person. The colors are vibrant, just like the photos. Swimming pool. The fabric is thin so dries quickly but I wouldn't sit on many rough stone or brick surfaces if you expect them to last long.But the fabric is thick enough not to embarrass you and there is a small one extra panel on front for extra protection. I'm 6'1" and have long legs, 34" inseam, and they hit the back of the knee so very small boys might find them a little long.
