Quality cat food: dry food

When evaluating pet food, I pay attention to two things: the list of ingredients and the pet's personal preferences. I was stunned when I looked at the ingredient list of this food! I like when the first 2-3 ingredients on the list are meat for both dogs and cats, but in this food the first 6 ingredients are fish. Going down the list from there, all the other ingredients have my approval, and also, rather than using fillers or hard-to-pronounce names, the ingredients are recognizable. The type of food I've tried is sea fish and duck, and although it's mostly fish (and smells quite fishy), the fat used is duck fat, and there's boneless duck fat meat on the ingredients list. The only thing that worries me is that sometimes my cats don't like food with a strong fishy taste. But they eat the food without any problems - which is something, because I have two cats that rarely like the same food. Cat number one is an older cat who has had some health issues so I now feed her good quality food to keep her healthy into old age. However, cat number two generally prefers cheap supermarket groceries and turns up his nose at some of the more expensive quality foods I've given her in the past. But both cats eat it without complaint, so I believe they have two paws that go up. The only problem I would have is the price. I notice that this meal is available through a subscription and savings program that can save you 5-15% off the price. Also, cats don't need as much food as cheaper bulk food, so the pouch lasts longer. But even in this case, the price is quite high.
