Arrived on time. Left it on the coffee table.

Arrived on time. I left it on the coffee table and when I got home I found scratch marks on the packaging. I guess that means my cat likes it :)

Good Choices: Cats

Three of our cats have been eating Kirkland (Costco) products for years, but one of them appears to have developed an intolerance and has been vomiting frequently. She seemed to like cheap friskies better but we didn't think it was a very healthy alternative so we tried Nutrience Original and everyone seemed to like it and the little one seemed to be doing much better. try Nutrience Natural now. An even better choice and still a hit with fussy cats. The first ingredient in this mix is turkey…

  • Decent performance

  • Questionable purchase for seniors

I would give ten stars if I could

I have now tried several Nutrience Naturals and all six of my cats love every single one. Although expensive, it's worth it if you can afford it. I believe this will save me money on vet bills in the long run. Forgoing conventional grains has made our cats healthier over the past three months. Cats are often allergic to grains, and two of our six have not had diarrhea since the switch, unless we eat a can of Friskies, aka junk food for cats, or a scoop of regular crunchy muesli. Then it is…

The ingredients are great; Cats are ambivalent

I thought I'd try this as an alternative to my usual dry food, a quality brand that's also high in protein. I am impressed with the quality of the ingredients on the label which exceeded both my standards and expectations. When I first served it to the cats, they rushed to him and destroyed the bowl with that brand instead of their usual dry food (blue). However, I have given up both in the last month and have noticed that they have gone back to preferring their old food to this one. It's not…

Even my picky cat loves these

I have one of those unlucky cats that loves to eat plastic but just can't accept certain brands of cat food as "food" so trying a new brand of cat food always feels like a big gamble. We tried to give her a taste between this and the two kibbles we know she eats (Nature's Instinct Rabbit Meat and Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Hydrolyzed Soy). Not only has she consistently chosen this new one over the other two, but she's still doing it a few weeks later. Win! This does not appear to have resulted…

  • Everything is great!

Cats just wouldn't eat it

I feed a lot of cats and sort out different brands of cat food, sometimes because of price, sometimes because of affordability and sometimes because of health concerns. I am aware of the disadvantages of some foods and therefore prefer to feed my cats healthier foods. So I was happy to offer this to them, which I think is very helpful. Unfortunately, none of the five cats I fed him ate him, at least not much. To be honest I live in a warm climate and the food was delivered when the temperature…

Suitable for diabetic cats

My cat recently developed diabetes and my vet recommended that I only feed her Fancy Feast. Before his visit to the vet, I fed my cat Purina "NATURALS", which caused diabetes. While Purina claims NATURALS is 38% protein, most of the protein comes from wheat gluten and corn. A cat's natural diet is meat. However, if you start feeding your cat too many carbohydrates and the cat starts to gain weight, you can expect diabetes just like humans. Therefore, this NUTRIENCE NATURAL cat food is a good…

Quality cat food: dry food

When evaluating pet food, I pay attention to two things: the list of ingredients and the pet's personal preferences. I was stunned when I looked at the ingredient list of this food! I like when the first 2-3 ingredients on the list are meat for both dogs and cats, but in this food the first 6 ingredients are fish. Going down the list from there, all the other ingredients have my approval, and also, rather than using fillers or hard-to-pronounce names, the ingredients are recognizable. The type…
