Works well AFTER fixing the critical issue
I bought this dock and two DisplayPort monitors. I put everything together and ran into a critical issue - the monitors would turn on for a few seconds and then turn off for a few seconds. This repeated forever. After a few hours of research and testing, the decision was made to update the HP docking station firmware to version 2.33. (I had version 2.27 and version 2.30 didn't solve the problem). If I hadn't been able to fix this bug the two monitors I bought for it would have ended up being expensive doorstops, but everything works fine now.
