This is a well-designed, sturdy phone with some great features for when you're looking to upgrade from a dumb phone but need assistance in a pinch. For example navigating Google Maps or watching a YouTube video while performing a task. The camera is functional for taking notes or memorizing notes, prices, etc. That's the bad. with KaiOS it is quite slow. Turning on any services slows it down. This makes it difficult to send text messages because sometimes you miss a letter. It also hangs when calling the number. In comparison, the Nokia 3310 3G is very fast and responsive for texting, calling and even just browsing the web or reading RSS feeds. KaiOS gives the phone a lot of potential to quickly develop programs. Perhaps some functions could simply be programmed at a deeper level instead of web applications. I want it to succeed and I think it has a lot of potential. I have no regrets about this phone but I want it to get better.
