Painted the house with this. They cover a fairly large area but are very thin and tear easily. Several sheets were torn when unfolded. Masking tape sticks well to the material, but be careful not to accidentally hit other tape as it usually breaks when you try to remove it. When we used cloth to cover the floor, we couldn't walk on it barefoot without it snagging and tearing. I had to wear long pants when painting baseboards because even the tiniest drop of moisture on your skin will make that plastic stick to you. Eventually we were looking for something inexpensive/disposable and it was basically disposable for home painting. They seem to work great for covering windows that let in a lot of light or covering items that don't have sharp edges.
