Digital manometer is crap. It reads 10 pounds below. So when I thought I was inflating a car tire to 33 pounds, it was closer to 45! The only reason I chose this particular device is that it plugs into an outlet. If you have a reliable (digital) pressure gauge (which I currently have) you can measure the tire, hook up the inflator and see how different it is. It's possible I had an anomaly, but still. A grumble: Nobody who sells tire inflators seems willing to provide a clip-on cartridge and insists on providing a hose with a screw end. By the time you unscrewed it from the valve stem, you'd lost who knows how many pounds of pressure?
