These sheets are well made and fit my 16 inch mattress perfectly. They hardly wrinkle when washed and are comfortable for sleeping. However, they do NOT have a "satin" surface! and the fabric does not have the "shine" you typically see on satin sheets. They are not "slippery" and cool when you first go to bed, and not "cold" like satin. I'm improving my game on these sheets after sleeping on them in this cool weather. They are very comfortable in cold weather. They don't have the "icy" feel that some satin sheets have. In addition, they seem to "breathe" very well and the temperature remains very comfortable throughout the night. As mentioned, they match the mattress VERY well.
