Review on ๐Ÿ”ฆ Vonpri [2 Pack] Flashlight Mount Holder, Bicycle Mounting Bracket Torch Clip with 360ยบ Rotation by David Jones

Basically works best in sports

Nice and cheap. Store single cell 18650 and 26550 flashlights on my bike fork with only simple modifications to the latter. The plastic inner pads are quite stiff and difficult to slide into place, which helps warm them up a bit and apply non-petroleum based lube (I used refined cocoa butter, worked great). Aim the flashlight beam at the desired angle of attack. The quick-release levers are quite cumbersome and the metal parts feel like chrome steel that will rust a bit with prolonged exposure to the elements. Update: For use with 26650 single cell bulbs, it is recommended that you fully open the channel locks and standard thick snap-on spacers and the only pair of thinner ones you'll find in the box. They don't have tabs to hold themselves in place when the clips are open so I recommend using 3M VHBโ„ข๏ธ double sided tape which as shown in fig 3M sticks to its plastic backing and your fingers much better than pads, ie it's a real PITA to work with, but still worth the effort as it saves you frustration in the long run. Bonus, the thickness and compressibility of the band increases the resilience of the clips when tightened around the flashlight, making the QR levers much easier to work with. If you've already lost your stock pads or need better grip and grip for flashlights, another option is to cut your own from 3M Electronics' self-adhesive rubber non-slip pads, sold here at Revain under the brand name ROOS. Their stretchy formulation, ultra-tacky adhesive backing and grippy siliconized surface are perfect for this purpose. Simply cut into 20mm wide strips and cut the tabs/notches to match the inner halves of the clips, peel off the backing and slide back into place (see image). made of aluminum alloy with siliconized rubber seals, would happily pay three times the price for a higher quality device. Still, not bad for the price, especially with the mod mentioned above.

Pros
  • The clamp rotates 360 degrees, you can point the LED flashlight in any direction.
Cons
  • Availability for exchange
