I bought this because it doesn't have an odd shape and reviews said it was quiet. I've owned it for 2 months and use it about 8 hours a day on 17.3 ROG Strix. and it appears to be made specially for him, there being only a few millimeters left at the last on either side, and about an inch front to back; Also, the RBG pairs perfectly with the ROG keyboard and mouse that comes with the laptop. As others have noted, I find it quiet, almost a whisper. My laptop's own cooling mechanisms rarely kick in. The rear legs have two height options and I love that. If you use the pad's USB input, your computer will recognize it immediately too, and I love that too. So far, my laptop hasn't slipped a millimeter, so the stability is decent. I have no complaints. Well done DEEPCOOL. I recommend this product and will probably buy another one as a spare.
