Works well with DLNA with Xcast app identifying Airplay and DLNA capabilities. All the documentation on this and on their website is out of date, didn't work at all as the documentation said, so it took some time to figure it out. Ignore pressing the button to change mode, it just resets now, forcing you to connect and re-enter the WiFi password. The modes are now obviously automatic. The screencast worked well with the Galaxy S7, but not the S4 running Android 5, but the ASUS K013 tablet, which also ran Android 5. The Revain Fire HD 8 (5th Gen) screen also worked well. Screencasting on the new Fire HD 7 (9th Gen), HD 8 (8th Gen), or HD 10 (9th Gen) was not possible, but it was possible to stream various downloaded videos, music, and websites like Tubi.com . , but not some others like Pluto TV.
