I bought this for my 4 year old because he wanted me to build it for him so he could put an oil rig next to his tracks. Let's just say this is the third one I bought because the wood is brittle and will break. Once the tree breaks, you're out of luck. If you want to continue, you need to buy another one. However, with each purchase I've worked smarter, not harder. Here are a few tips I highly recommend to avoid injuring your hands and fingers or making holes that bleed your fingers. 1) Do not use sandpaper. Buy an electric nail file that is used in nail salons, plug it in and file your toothpicks that way. DO NOT try to sand this by hand and then push it through the holes. You will hurt yourself and waste so much time. So much time. 2) DO NOT use broken or broken glass. She won't work. Your setup will fall apart and you will be very upset that you wasted your time on it. 3) Use paraffin. Lubricate those gears. 4) Pay special attention to small details in the instructions (by the way, these are photos). If you miss a small detail, e.g. B. If the hole is pointing down instead of up, you're screwed. I personally will never buy these again. If you want to piss someone off, send them this as a gift. You'll hurt your fingers assembling it and will most likely have to buy several before actually assembling it. I am not ready yet. I had to go back and redo some things (check out those instructions lol). And give my fingers a little rest. I'll finish it because my cute friend won't let me burn it in the fireplace (I asked him if it would be cool to light it up instead. He laughed and said no). I'm sure the end result will be good, but I just don't enjoy it. Definitely check it out if you need an oil rig as they don't make toy oil rigs. LOL.Update: Okay, as I continue this product nightmare, please note that the instructions are disabled. For example if he asks you to find #38 there is no 38. It is actually 8. I checked with the other one and it's the same. . It's annoying because it shouldn't be that hard. I'm making great progress (although my fingers are frustrating and sore) and all of a sudden the holes don't line up and I'm ANGRY and now I need to figure out how to fix this problem. Buy the best brand.
