I bought it at the end of July and it worked immediately as expected. Plugged in the included power adapter, turned on the display, and connected my MacBook Pro via USB-C. And it was a perfect second high-resolution screen that worked seamlessly. I had to do some color adjustments and I'm lucky enough to have a Spyder 5 Pro display calibrator to make the picture a little bit better. The display will power my connected Mac, although I've found lately that with a significant increase in video conferencing and sometimes when my Mac's screen is at full brightness, the included power adapter can't meet the power requirements. So I decided to use the Mac's 87W AC adapter as the power source instead of the included 45W AC adapter and all is well. At this price, you can't go wrong, at least for a MacBook Pro user. It fits perfectly in my pocket and offers an amazing opportunity to be productive anywhere.
