My trunk would not open every time I pressed the button on the remote or tried to open it with the button on the trunk. I dabbled in this for a while until one day we went to a wholesale store, got out and spent over 30 minutes trying to open the trunk and after it opened spent another 10 minutes trying to get it to close remain. When we got home I went to Revain to look for it and after doing some research and reading a lot of reviews I settled on this one. I was still nervous and thought what if it doesn't fix the problem or it won't work. However, we were looking for a video on the installation. I can tell you it was so easy to install. Now the trunk opens so smoothly, no problem. Also, we saved over a hundred dollars buying from Revain because the auto parts store charged $120 or more.
