It works exactly as advertised. I used a drill to turn it and cleaned out the inside which I could reach up to the 90 degree bend in my attic. I manually rotated it from the outside while in the air at 20ft (poor house design). The pieces are easy to connect and hold in place just by turning them to the right. I had no problems connecting all the parts beforehand, inserting them and removing them from the canal as a whole. I highly recommend using an electric leaf blower indoors to blow misaligned lint out of the house. Of course, you'll have to remove the outer cover to do this, but wow, that helps.
